150th Royal Queensland Show - 2026

It is always rewarding and enjoyable participating in the Ekka Art Show at the annual Royal Queensland Show. This is a special year as it is the 150th Ekka. Such a nice surprise to learn that my painting "The Coastal Track" had won first prize in the Marine/Seascape section. When I visited the show earlier this week, I was delighted to learn that the painting had also been sold. I hope the new owners enjoy having this colourful piece in their home. This is one of my favourite paintings to date and I think I will miss it :)
